Sarah Bell welcomes you to Life, Loss, Hope. Grief and loss can be overwhelming and we all long to be heard, understood and find a way through what has happened to learn how to live on in a purposeful way. Especially, over the past few years many have faced different kinds of loss.
Whether it is the grief that accompanies the loss of a job, relationship breakup, divorce, death of a loved one or pet, it is important to open up by talking. Talking helps us to navigate our emotions and a path forwards. Life, Loss and Hope is a series of authentic talks sharing support, encouragement and hope.
My experiences of personal loss, faith and working as a Hospice Chaplain with terminally ill, end of life and bereaved families. My hope is to inspire and deepen your understanding of how to grieve in a healthy way and to heal the pain of loss. Sharing your story is a vital part of the journey so I would love you to join with me in the weeks and months ahead as we open up to share on Life, Loss & Hope.
If you feel that you some help during a difficult time, please do get in touch.
Nothing in life can prepare us for the death of a loved one and the path of grief which is often misunderstood. Today I talk about how society and others close to us want to hurry us through and “move forward” which can be isolating and frustrating even hurtful. Encouragement to engage with our grief, be honest with yourself and others by feeling the pain of loss. From my heart to yours …Hold on you are not alone and are loved.
